Frequently Asked Questions…
How much will it cost for a voiceover?
I offer competitive industry rates and follow the Equity and GFTB rate guides but will always try to work with your budget wherever possible. Please see the pricing page here for a general guide.
In order for me to provide you with an accurate quote please let me know what will the voiceover be used for and what is the estimated word count or length of the script?
Send your project details, including the style or tone of voice you are after and intended usage, and I will provide a free custom quote as quickly as possible.
Could you provide a sample read?
Yes! I’d be happy to send you a free mp3 sample of your script. Just give me the details and I’ll get it straight back to you.
How quickly can I receive my finished audio file?
Usually within a few hours unless it’s a large job such as an audiobook etc.
What if I need retakes or revisions?
Any changes that are made to the script after the final recording has taken place and / or delivered. This is a revision therefore an additional fee will be applied to re-record the revision(s).
If something is not quite right in terms of my work, which could be a mispronounced word or the tone / delivery is not quite right this is a retake and I will gladly provide several more reads if necessary to try to achieve your vision and will work with you until it’s perfect.
What file formats do you supply?
The most common formats are MP3, Wav and AIFF supplied upon your brief but let me know if you have different requirements.
Can I direct the recording session live?
Yes, you’re welcome to dial in and work with me if required. We can connect using a variety of methods including Zoom, Skype, Source Connect etc.
What are your payment terms?
If we haven’t worked together previously then I ask for a 50% deposit with the balance on receipt of the finished audio. Once we have a working relationship I’m happy to invoice on a 30 days basis. Payments can be made by Bank transfer, Paypal and Stripe
